Hi, I’m Amie Staniloff — therapist, mom, and the founder of GenLift.

With over 13 years of experience in counselling — including 9 as Head of Counselling at one of Alberta’s top schools for students with ADHD and Learning Disabilities — I’ve supported hundreds of kids and teens through some of their most challenging (and most growth-filled) seasons.

I specialize in working with children and teens who are navigating anxiety, ADHD, emotional regulation, school-based struggles, learning differences, and low self-esteem — as well as big transitions, like the move into post-secondary.

My goal is simple: to offer direct, compassionate, and effective support so young people can feel empowered, understood, and ready to thrive.

At GenLift, our mission is to create a safe, supportive, and nurturing space where children and teens feel genuinely seen, heard, and valued.

Rooted in compassion and care, we walk alongside young people through life’s ups and downs—helping them build resilience and tap into their inner strength.

Through personalized counselling and authentic connection, we aim to empower each young person to grow with confidence, face the future with courage, and thrive—emotionally, socially, and mentally.
